IS THERE ANYTHING BETTER THAN A FRESH START?

While every morning brings one, there is something different about the fresh start of the new year. My new lifelong goal is to feel this rejuvenated, creative, and motivated on the daily… that sounds pretty great, right?! It is always worth pausing to enjoy more of what surrounds you and remember why you do what you do.

When you think about designing your dream home, are you a bit daunted? No matter how big your dream home project is in your mind, stop and process individual vignettes. There are so many details that go into making a house a home, the trick is to break it all down into each individual moment within each individual space.

Think about the layers of detail you would be able to add if you just broke the big picture down for a minute
Maizie’s big girl room transformation has been a work in progress for a long time… one of those spaces that I want to be certain grows with her and keeps her excited about all things.

We painted her walls a few months ago, to what we all now know as the best wall pink ever. Our collection of artwork for her grows daily. Each wall is a vignette in my mind, and as soon as I’m sold on my vision for it, the artwork goes up. This one is grounded by my dad’s childhood spindle chair!
