We are dedicating this MMDH Monthly Must Haves to Fall! It’s that tricky transition of the season that is touch and go for what feels like months on end… never sure what layers you’ll need, so best to pile them all on! Let’s dive in.

October’s MMDH Monthly Must Haves

1. FLORAL BIRDY SHEETS

There is not much better than fresh bedding to kick off a new season, and this goldenrod background to a colorful bird floral is enough to make anyone thrilled to not only crawl into bed but make your bed every brisk fall morning!

2. POP OF PINK

I love ramping up my outerwear with a fresh coat most years. I rarely circulate the old ones out completely, because I love a good collection 🤩 and the ability to switch it up. A coat collection serves me well, especially when I need the motivation to leave MMDH HQ on the chilliest of days!

3. COZY PATTERNED SOCKS

There is nothing better than great hiking socks to cozy you up all fall and winter. I love this low-key pattern and color… more color options where those came from too!

4. LILAC DUTCH OVEN

I’m not a cook, although I have glass cabinets to display pieces this spectacular, even if they only get used once or twice a year by my extended family. Gosh is this thing glorious! Cast iron to keep all of its contents warm for ages. I am not a purple person, although lilac and orchid have been my go-to neutral for the last year or so. I gravitate towards this color in everything, and it tends to coordinate with anything 🙋‍♀️

5. COLORFUL BEAD BRACELET SET

I’ll never have too many colorful stacking bracelets. I love these all-season stackers to replace some of my summer collection for fall. The color and texture of these can be mixed with gold and/or silver as an everyday pop of personality.

6. SCALLOP SHADE WALL SCONCE

This super versatile sconce is a go-to for MMDH. We love the up-and-down and side-to-side adjustability for bedside reading lights, over a sink, or over a desk. The scalloped shade is a great touch for a bit more customized character.

7. MIRROR

We love the shape of this mirror over a vanity, an entry table, a low dresser, a mantle, really just about anywhere! The wood tone is a neutral addition to any space, and the 30″W x 42″H scale is not easy to find at this price!!

8. VERSATILE WOVEN BASKET

These bowls are the perfect textural neutral styling add to any bookshelf or coffee table. Ground your playing cards, holiday cards, or any other collected items in these beauties. Place one on top of a couple of coffee table books for an easy styling stack win!

9. ARTWORK

A great go-to for semi-custom artwork. Choose your size. Choose your frame. Choose a signature to ramp up your print! I LOVE this streamlined photograph, playing with color-blocking and shadows for any room aesthetic or gallery wall pop.

10. CHAMBRAY BUTTON UP

If you know me you know. I never have less than five chambrays on rotation from September through April over here. This one is a go-to for a multitude of reasons I won’t bore you with. Just trust that I have tested quite a few to date 😉 This one is no doubt a MMDH Monthly Must Have!

11. SWEATER WEATHER

I’m a layering lady in my home decor and wardrobe staples. This neutral cardi is the perfect textural weave for fall. I love the slight crop that doesn’t expose an ounce of mid-drift and adds a finishing touch to a denim-on-denim base 👌

12. EVERYDAY GO-TO TENNIES

I am forever on the hunt for my next easy everyday tennies. Something about the mustard and aqua combo that gets me every time I see these. My sister was traveling in them in a different color-way last month, and she raved about their comfort after a full day through airports. Adding to cart!
