Stop overthinking it.

I am hired by homeowners to come in and make it all come together. I love that my clients have full faith in ME, although I have to be honest, every last one of you can make incredible styling happen if you have that same faith in YOURSELF!

SOMETIMES WE ARE IN OUR OWN WAY

You have been telling yourself for decades that you don’t have a “design eye”; or you need more help with this stuff than most; or you don’t even know what your style is 😭

We’re reversing this message you’ve made up for yourself. You have the eye that matters for your own home; you don’t need a defined “style” to bring your personality into a fully thought through home design… I repeat, you do not need to identify your style!

Buy items that put a smile on your face. It could be a pig sculpture or a piece of art. It doesn’t matter, as long as it speaks to you and you love the vibe.

WHERE TO START WHEN YOU’RE STUCK

Most of our MMDH Community homeowners find themselves wanting more out of their home, but also get decision paralysis when working towards making great design actually happen.

There is A LOT to let yourself get hung up on when designing a space.

If you find yourself struggling to take action with *goal setting and gathering inspiration* try these tips:

• Look back at any old inspiration to see how you have evolved from your Pinterest boards or magazine tabs… this is really the fun part as you dive right in to gathering fresh inspiration. By the way, are we friends on Pinterest? Take a look inside where I get my inspiration, here!
   
• Dive into a few hard copies of design magazines and books. Maybe they have been sitting in a stack on a shelf for a decade or are fresh off the press. Either way, there is a reason you gravitated towards them. Look inside. Mark the pages. Identify commonalities between the images you are drawn to.

• In this phase of your project, there are no limits! Think bigger than you feel is possible. There is ALWAYS a time to pull back in life… this is not it!! Take advantage of not having to limit yourself while you are setting goals and gathering inspiration. This is your full permission to THINK BIG!
